This Medusa piece was carved out of a ball of tree roots. Gorgeous.

This tree was formed entirely of skulls and bones. They must have had access to a slaughterhouse! I was lucky enough to pass this several times a day & I always had to stop to admire it. Be sure to click on it to see the detail. The huge pieces out on the Playa are underwritten by Burning Man. Everything else people fund themselves, either individually or in groups. These were my two favorite pieces of smaller scale art. Still not small...
